My daughter had many problems with her health after taking too many antibiotics. She'd been in pain for about 18 months until very luckily somebody recommended Wendy at Barlow's. The hospital hadn't been able to help and I'd tried other alternative therapies which hadn't helped. Going to Barlow's was the best thing I ever did. I can't thank Wendy enough. I don't know what position we'd be in without her! The whole staff are lovely people and will go out of their way to help you. I wouldn't go anywhere else now!

I'm really impressed with the help and service that I have received from Barlow's. After having 3 ulcers on my right foot for about 6 months and in despair at nothing having worked to get rid of them no matter what I tried, I decided to go to see Wendy at Barlow's and have a Mora test. It was found that I had a blood infection that was similar to the MRSA virus. I was given some drops to take to get rid of the virus and noticed an improvement within a couple of days. After about 2 weeks 2 of the ulcers had completely gone and the 3rd had gone within a month. All that time putting all sorts of cream on the ulcers was a waste of time as they needed treating from the inside. Well done Wendy for discovering the problem and giving me the correct treatment.

I love this place, it's my favourite shop on the planet - although referring to it as a mere shop does it a serious injustice.
Walk through the door, and it's like you've stepped through a secret passageway to an old apothecary's emporium - back to simpler and happier times, when the World didn't want to make you get off.
Jars of mysterious herbs line the shelves, and behind the counter, jars of vitamins, minerals greet the eye.
Advice on all conditions is given knowledgably and thoughtfully, and it truly feels like stepping back into a gentler, more caring age, when treatments are based on the holistic needs of the individual rather than the masses.
I've been coming here for around 30 years, and will never stop.

The internet? Can you be sure what you're buying..? In any event, Barlow’s' prices are more-than competitive - and they do offer a postal delivery service.

As a teenager I was covered in eczema that led to impetigo all over my body. I had been referred to dermatologists only for them to give me steroid cream after steroid cream that minimally waived the symptoms for a short while only for my problems to return. My skin was so severe I had to peel myself in tears from my own clothing and could hardly sit down, my hair was falling out, my nails were brittle, I was missing out on education. A patch of impetigo eventually appeared on face and luckily this visibility prompted my Uncle to send me to Barlows. I saw Wendy, completed the MORA therapy & turns out I had numerous health issues. Wendy prescribed some herbal remedies and directed me on my diet. Within a month I was completely cured and felt like a new person. Thirty years old, still following the advice I received then & in perfect health. Cannot recommend this place and the entire team enough! Thank you!

I have been so poorly since before Christmas last year. I knew the issue was anemia and was given a prescription. The meds made me so ill I just didn't keep on top of them so never recovered. As a regular at Barlows, I gave you a call last week and explained my issue. I was given your prescribed herbs and within 24 hours I had a massively found new energy!!!!
So I want to thank you so much for giving me a new lease of life in getting the old me back. My energy levels are up, my memory improving and I don't feel like I need to sleep all the time!

If you are looking for natural alternatives to your health and well being then I highly recommend Barlows Herbalists! They have an excellent range of natural products, staff are friendly and informative and the atmosphere is wonderful. Lovely experience with a lot of beneficial advice and remedies :)
